I know it’s June, so.. a coat? What the hell? Well, here in Denmark, the weather is every day’s surprise. Last weeks were so warm that I felt I’m on my seaside holidays somewhere in the south of Europe. Well, well. This week has been cloudy, rainy and evenings had been kind of cold. Or maybe I still just didn’t get used to this Danish climate. At least, it was a great opportunity to take out my faux fur coat out of the wardrobe, and cuddle it up!
This coat was a hidden gem I found in even more hidden thrift shop in Slovakia. When I first saw it, I knew it had to be mine. Now I’m totally in love with it – the colour, the cut and of course, the fluffiness!!
So far, I have worn it only a few times though. For a while I wasn’t sure what I want to wear it with. I really love the idea of throwing a coat like this over light summer dress. But lately, I have been digging the combination of the coat with just a simple tee, jeans and sneakers. I tried it and this is the result. What do you think?
I think there is never enough of white t-shirts. This one is my Stockholm “souvenir” as I found it in a local thrift shop while exploring Stockholm’s hip and bohemian Södermalm, which was once ranked to be the coolest neighbourhood in Europe by Vogue magazine. You can find some great tips which places to visit there here.
Anyways, I love, love this tee and the minimal print! These high waisted ripped jeans are from Monki and I swear by them. I even nearly broke them, it got fixed, but I still can’t believe they look this wearable.
I’m not really so much into sports shoes, even though I like it on other girls. However, these Zara sneakers are one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I love their neutral tones – they just go with everything. And of course, they’re so comfy!
This time, me and Lauren didn’t know where we’re going for the photo shoot. So we just started walking the streets nearby my apartment and found this small side street which I would have normally barely noticed. I always love to wander around forgotten places and explore the city which I thought I know so well.
That’s about it for today, life’s busy, my thesis deadline is getting dangerously close and unless I want to completely ruin my summer, I have some hard-core nerding to do. So if I’m not posting as often as I usually do, you can always come by my Facebook page, where I share a lot of stuff apart from my own! And in the meantime, you can check out Lauren’s amazing work here ♥
Btw, MØ released the video for her Final Song, and I’m totally obsessed by it and her pink dress!!
